What is the main purpose of using this command?
I tried a few attempts on applying this to a remote PC and ended up the command executed on my own PC. |

Hello,
That option does indeed run the command on the local computer rather than the remote computer. The option is there in case you need to install software on the remote computer and then use a local program to push updates to the remote computer, e.g. AV updates etc.
Many thanks

It's similar, but runs for each computer you install to.
This is used for example in one of our other programs, AssetDB, so that after the install completes on the remote computer AssetDB re-scans that computer, so that the database is up to date.
Many thanks
